PictoSuiteWho is behind PictoSuite?
đ I'm Rafa Robles Fontanet, a primary school teacher. I've been teaching for nine years: three of them in the reception class for newly-arrived pupils, and now I'm a Year 4 tutor. PictoSuite is a personal project I'm building with the help of artificial intelligence. Why did I do it? Because I couldn't find any tool that made classroom work with pictograms easier. It's the program I, as a teacher, would like to have at hand.
How did this idea come about?
In my day-to-day work at school I kept hitting the same wall: there are plenty of websites to find pictograms, but hardly any that make it easy to build worksheets, sequence activities or design adapted materials. It's slow and tedious. That's why I started PictoSuite: a platform that's easy to use, that brings in artificial intelligence to go faster, and that lets you think about your pupils instead of about how the tool works. PictoSuite goes beyond teachers, because the real protagonists are the pupils. Pictograms don't only help children with special educational needs or newly-arrived pupils: they help any child process information, anticipate routines and understand abstract ideas. That's why the platform is also meant for children to use directly. Because adapting learning and making our classrooms 100% inclusive shouldn't be a headache, but an adventure within everyone's reach. I hope you enjoy this adventure as much as I do.
